Saint Brigid's Church Killester Centenary 1926-2026
Parish Barbecue Sunday 28th June 2026
On Sunday, 28th June after 11 am Mass we celebrated the centenary of our parish community with a BBQ held in the beautiful gardens behind St. Brigid’s Church, Killester.
The weather was just perfect for the BBQ which was attended by around 150 parishioners, both old and new to the parish.
Food and refreshments were enjoyed by all. Music was also provided by a local DJ. It was a great opportunity to welcome new people to the parish and to catch up with old friends.
Fr. Joseph, Parish Priest said: “I am delighted to celebrate the parish’s centenary with such a great event and I would like to thank all the volunteers who very kindly gave of their time to ensure that the event ran smoothly. I would also like to thank the volunteers who work in the garden to ensure that it is always looking its best.”
